Media Asset Operator

About the role

TransPerfect’s Media Services team is expanding and needs a Media Asset Operator to act as the hub between localization teams and dubbing studios. You will work on a variety of audio and video assets for major international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prepare and transcode source materials into multiple audio and video formats.
• Perform audio tasks in Pro Tools, including conformance, normalization and editing.
• Prepare working materials for dubbing and subtitling teams and build masters to client specifications.
• Handle simple subtitle tasks such as profile changes and basic offsets.
• Archive completed projects and ensure assets flow correctly between production environments and stakeholders.
• Identify technical issues and suggest workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of video signals, formats and codecs.
• Hands‑on experience with Adobe Premiere and Pro Tools.
• Familiarity with localization workflows and dubbing studio operations.
• High autonomy, collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
• Intermediate French and fluent English.
