Modelling Actuary – Life & Health (Casablanca)

About the role

SCOR, a global leader in risk management and reinsurance, is expanding its Actuarial Hub in Casablanca. The Modelling Actuary will join a senior L&H modelling team to design, enhance and automate reserving models that support the company’s performance, capital and cash‑flow objectives across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain life & health reserving models for various reporting bases and jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with reserving, finance, IT, data, pricing and in‑force management teams to gather modelling requirements.
• Build, test and implement new model capabilities, quantify impacts of changes and produce analytical reports for senior management.
• Drive automation of the quarterly model production process and champion best‑practice modelling tools.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance valuation/reserving.
• Proven experience in life & health actuarial modelling and reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of life & health reserving principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with actuarial modelling tools and automation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and lead modelling initiatives.
