Molding Setup Operator

About the role

As a Molding Setup Operator at TE, you will work with diverse teams to ensure safe, sustainable, and efficient production of molded parts. You will operate common machine tools, set up equipment for specific runs, and monitor workflow to maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute specific production runs, setting up molding machines according to specifications.
• Monitor workflow, assure product quality, and follow procedures for equipment failures.
• Provide guidance and training to junior or new operators.
• Conduct periodic inspections and tests of machine parts, reporting critical feedback to engineers and supervisors.
• Repair identified issues, maintain machine activity logs, and document final product records.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of related work experience.
• High school diploma required; vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, inclusion, innovation, and teamwork values.

Required skills

• Operation of common machine tools.
