.NET Core & Python Engineer

About the role

This role covers Customer ID and Profile core support, with responsibility for incident triage and ownership, troubleshooting and restoration, application enhancements, cross-team collaboration, platform and application stack awareness, and service quality and process excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly intake, triage and prioritize alerts, tickets and incidents, and act as Incident Owner during high-severity events with clear communication and timely updates.
• Maintain accurate, real-time incident timelines and post-incident documentation.
• Isolate root causes across application, middleware, APIs, data and infrastructure layers, using observability platforms to correlate logs, metrics and traces.
• Perform targeted mitigations, rollbacks, configuration fixes and coordinate hotfixes to restore service quickly.
• Develop features, enhancements and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with Application Development, DevOps, Database, Network, Security, QA and vendor partners, provide technical context and evidence, and facilitate postmortems.
• Identify the application stack (UI, backend, APIs, queues, databases, caches, containers, orchestration, networking) for each impacted service and maintain runbooks, service maps and dependency diagrams.
• Contribute to automation and self-healing routines, tune alerts, and identify monitoring gaps.

Required profile

• 6-8+ years of experience in support, production operations or development roles.
• 5+ years of .NET Core experience and 5+ years with AWS cloud technologies.
• Solid understanding of security issues in multi-tier enterprise applications.
• Trainable, flexible to learn, with curiosity about what, why and how.
• Nice to have: exceptional triage and situational analysis skills, effective verbal and written communication, airline domain knowledge.
