New Product Introduction Engineer – Greenfield Manufacturing

About the role

Westwire, a subsidiary of SASMOS HET Technologies, is establishing a new manufacturing plant in Morocco and seeks a dynamic New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer. The role will drive the transfer and industrialisation of products from the UK and India, ensuring the facility moves from prototype to serial production efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product transfer and industrialisation from UK and India to the Morocco plant.
• Coordinate product launches, prepare SOPs, work instructions, process flows and control documents.
• Support line setup, tooling, fixtures, equipment installation and production‑line readiness.
• Participate in greenfield plant layout, process implementation and ramp‑up activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, supply‑chain and program teams across multiple locations.
• Track project milestones, manage risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Conduct process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plan and FAIR activities.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving during pilot and early production phases.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in NPI, industrialisation or manufacturing engineering.
• Background in product transfer, manufacturing setup or production ramp‑up, preferably in aerospace, defence, electronics or complex cable/harness environments.
• Experience with greenfield manufacturing projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Understanding of IQ, OQ and PQ validation processes.
