Odoo Consultant / Developer (Functional + Technical)

About the role

We are seeking an Odoo specialist who can bridge functional configuration and technical development. You will be the go‑to expert for configuring Odoo 19 across a multi‑company, multi‑brand environment, ensuring accounting, inventory, and manufacturing processes run smoothly while delivering clean custom modules when out‑of‑the‑box features fall short.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and administer Odoo 19 for a multi‑company/group (companies, branches, users, access rights, record rules).
• Own accounting setup: chart of accounts, journals, taxes (Moroccan TVA/PCGM), fiscal positions, and period closing.
• Set up and maintain inventory & manufacturing: warehouses, locations, products, UoMs, phantom/kit BoMs.
• Write and maintain custom Odoo modules in Python (models, fields, views, security, server methods, APIs).
• Integrate Odoo with external systems via JSON, XML‑RPC, webhooks, or middleware.
• Diagnose stack issues (logs, data, access) and propose upgrade‑safe solutions.
• Provide on‑demand consulting with quick turnaround for questions, changes, and reviews.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience with Odoo, covering both functional configuration and technical development.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo accounting, multi‑company books, and Moroccan tax localization (PCGM/TVA) is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with inventory and manufacturing modules.
• Comfortable self‑hosting Odoo using Docker, handling upgrades and logs.
• Clear communicator able to translate business needs into Odoo solutions.
• Ownership mindset: reliable, responsive, and able to take a request from idea to deployed module.
