Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the plant’s operational areas, ensuring manufacturing processes deliver high product functionality while maintaining cost efficiency. Reporting to senior plant leadership, this role is pivotal in achieving plant targets through KPI‑driven performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct reports, contributing to overall plant performance as part of the plant management team.
• Oversee SRS, Molding and HV Production activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, legal regulations, and statutory obligations.
• Allocate resources across Production, Mechanical Engineering, Program Management, Maintenance, HR, Finance, Quality, EHS, MPC and SCM to balance short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Define and implement the site’s Lean strategy, ensuring daily use of Lean tools and standards.
• Monitor monthly KPIs, initiate corrective actions to improve quality, on‑time delivery, safety, cost and people metrics.
• Authorize shipment or production stops in case of serious quality issues, informing leadership immediately.
• Prepare the annual budget for the Business Line and achieve budgeted turnover and operating income.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant or industrial operations management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to make decisive decisions under pressure, especially regarding quality and safety.
