About the role

Lapaire is seeking a qualified Optician to join its optical shop in Qods, Morocco. The role combines customer service, eye examinations, prescription interpretation, and the delivery of personalized optical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in both the sales area and the testing room.
• Contribute to the agency’s sales growth.
• Identify clients’ visual health needs through direct contact.
• Present lenses and frames, explaining the benefits of each product.
• Answer client questions regarding optics and visual health.
• Provide personalized after‑sales service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Verify that deliveries of lenses and frames match agency orders.
• Perform objective and subjective refraction tests using a trial set and Snellen chart (or an autorefractor when available).
• Measure diopters with a focometer when required.
• Identify visual problems, explain defects, and advise clients on maintaining good visual health.
• Conduct health interviews to assess risk factors and medical history.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the agency manager and collaborate closely with sales staff.
• Strong customer‑oriented attitude.
• Clear communication skills for explaining optical products.
• Attention to detail for prescription interpretation and order verification.
• Willingness to contribute ideas and initiatives to the Lapaire project.
