People Manager

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager at Kasbah Tamadot, you will own the full employee experience—from recruitment to long‑service celebrations—and lead the Payroll Clerk. This role is central to nurturing the unique culture of Sir Richard Branson’s ultra‑luxury retreat in the Atlas Mountains.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Workbuzz survey, turn results into action plans, and run recognition, wellbeing and length‑of‑service initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, inductions, probation reviews and support career progression and succession planning.
• Serve as first point of contact for grievances, disciplinaries, absence and conduct, advising managers on Moroccan labour law.
• Own monthly payroll in partnership with Finance, handling CNSS, IR and service‑charge distribution, and maintain accurate Workday records, contracts and HR reporting.

Required profile

• Generalist HR experience, ideally in luxury hospitality.
• Solid knowledge of Moroccan employment law, employee‑relations casework and payroll.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
• Fluent English; Arabic and/or French are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Workday or similar HRIS (Workbuzz experience is a plus).
• Payroll processing and familiarity with CNSS and IR regulations.
