Plant Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our automotive manufacturing facility in Salé. You will be responsible for aligning plant performance with corporate strategy, ensuring financial targets are met, and fostering a safety‑first, results‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management and performance of the plant, including budget planning, cost control and profitability.
• Define and execute plant strategy, set KPIs and drive sustainable achievement.
• Lead, develop and empower plant employees and management teams.
• Ensure stable, efficient production processes and continuous improvement across all operational areas.
• Maintain compliance with automotive standards, legal requirements and internal policies.
• Act as central interface to OEM customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage escalations, risks and corrective actions.
• Monitor operational KPIs, analyse data and implement improvement measures.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee product launches, ramp‑up phases and value‑chain processes.
• Authority to stop production or shipment in case of quality or safety risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in automotive manufacturing, including leadership responsibility.
• Proven plant management experience in high‑volume production environments.
• Strong knowledge of automotive standards and OEM requirements.
• Solid financial management skills (budgeting, cost control, profitability).
• Deep understanding of production processes and operational excellence principles.
• Strategic mindset with strong business orientation.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and communication skills.
