Postdoctoral Researcher – Fertilizer Dissolution & Diffusion

About the role

The College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic seeks a motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate the dissolution and diffusion of various fertilizer formulations in water and soils. The role involves generating experimental data to support the development of new predictive models for fertilizer behavior under different saturation conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct laboratory experiments on fertilizer dissolution and diffusion.
• Prepare soil samples and measure their physico‑chemical properties.
• Analyze experimental results and contribute to model development.
• Write and submit high‑quality scientific manuscripts.
• Mentor master’s and PhD students in related projects.

Required profile

• PhD in a discipline directly related to fertilizer dissolution, soil science, chemistry, or environmental engineering.
• Strong knowledge of fertilizer experimentation techniques.
• Demonstrated record of publications in reputable scientific journals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
