Postdoctoral Researcher – Fertilizer Formulation & Plant Nutrition

About the role

The Chemical & Biochemical Sciences Green Process Engineering Department (CBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to advance fertilizer science. You will lead applied research on innovative fertilizer formulations aimed at improving nutrient availability, use efficiency, soil fertility, and crop performance under realistic agricultural conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop novel fertilizer formulations.
• Perform physicochemical characterization of fertilizer products.
• Conduct laboratory tests to assess nutrient release and stability.
• Run greenhouse experiments to evaluate plant response.
• Carry out agronomic evaluations and data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within CBS and external partners.

Required profile

• PhD in fertilizer science, plant nutrition, agronomy, chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong research background with hands‑on experience in formulation and testing of agricultural inputs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
