Postdoctoral Researcher: Logistics Optimization and Sustainability

About the role

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (GTI, Green Tech Institute) is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to design and implement an optimized, resilient and sustainable logistics architecture for the JORF-Lasfar site. The work focuses on improving routing, storage and loading flows to reduce costs and energy consumption while strengthening supply chain resilience against disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze routing, storage and loading flows and identify levers to reduce costs and lead times
• Develop risk management models and implement energy management and CO2 reduction strategies
• Monitor industry innovations and publish results in Q1 journals and indexed conferences
• Integrate the architecture into the JORF-Lasfar ERP system
• Collaborate with the SBU Manufacturing team at JORF-Lasfar and the GTI-UM6P team on continuous improvement projects

Required profile

• PhD in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field
• Experience in a similar role is appreciated
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering and SCRUM methodologies
• Professional proficiency in English
