About the role

We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the AgroBioSciences (AgBS) program at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Benguerir, Morocco. The position focuses on cutting‑edge research in molecular soil biology and microbial ecology, contributing to the university’s mission to address African agricultural challenges through innovative science.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments investigating soil microbial communities and their functional roles.
• Apply molecular and omics techniques to characterize soil biodiversity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the AgBS research centre.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and prepare scientific publications.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and highly skilled researcher with a strong background in soil biology, microbiology or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaborative environments.
