Presales Technical Consultant, Print & Solutions

About the role

HP is looking for a Presales Technical Consultant for its Print & Solutions business in Casablanca. The role uses consultative selling techniques to match the company's offerings to customer needs, gathering detailed requirements, designing custom solutions and working with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from presales to post-sales. It also covers product demonstrations and technical objections.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the technical aspects of products and solutions, including architecture, integration capabilities and customization options.
• Gather detailed technical requirements and help design tailored solutions for each customer.
• Work with product development, engineering and support teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales to post-sales.
• Deliver technically sound product demonstrations and presentations with relevant use cases.
• Analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses and give the sales team insights to position the products effectively.
• Address customer technical objections and explain solutions clearly.
• Contribute to technical documentation such as case studies and technical specifications.
• Communicate the suitability of solutions to the client's business needs in simple terms and take part in training to keep improving expertise.

Required profile

• A four-year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 2-4 years of experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no work experience is also acceptable.
