Process Engineer – Manufacturing Equipment Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to define, acquire, install and validate manufacturing equipment that supports new projects and engineering changes. The role ensures that assembly tables, lines and work‑place operators are ready for start‑up, contributing to Aptiv’s mission of safer, sustainable mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Define equipment needs (assembly tables, lines, work‑place operators) and associated budgets for new projects.
• Lead installation, validation and continuous improvement of equipment, focusing on quality, volume and cost.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Ensure equipment availability at start‑of‑production by anticipating risks and alerting internal teams.
• Close reliability reporting points and maintain related documentation.
• Participate in supplier selection for production equipment purchases.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving techniques.
