Procurement Manager – North Africa

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier partnership activities across North Africa. The role will drive value creation, ensure supply continuity and support business growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts, measure utilization and communicate new agreements locally.
• Execute strategic sourcing activities aligned with group category strategy and support the Group Category Manager.
• Lead sourcing for all procurement categories, analyze market trends, identify opportunities and negotiate to achieve optimal total cost of ownership, service and quality.
• Ensure alignment with internal customers, collaborate with Group Category Leaders and support policy implementation across functions.
• Define and apply a supplier segmentation model, building long‑term value‑adding relationships.
• Oversee administration activities, create and approve purchase orders, and support the admin specialist on order‑invoice mismatches.
• Handle master data management by adding or blocking suppliers and maintaining accurate supplier information in the system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost‑saving initiatives.
• Experience managing contracts and supplier relationships.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, legal, HR and other business units.
• Familiarity with total cost of ownership concepts and service level agreements.
