Product Manager – Autonomous Defense Systems

About the role

Harmattan AI is building next‑generation autonomous defense systems. As a Product Manager you will shape product strategy, define specifications, and drive the full development lifecycle from concept to industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define product specifications based on customer feedback, market analysis and technology trends.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee system architecture and technical development across R&D and industrialisation phases.
• Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams to achieve high performance and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product, sales, marketing and program stakeholders.
• Allocate engineering and other resources efficiently to meet project goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical roles within defense, UAV/UxV, robotics, aerospace, radars/RF, optronics, PNT or AI domains.
• Proven track record managing high‑complexity aerospace, defense or robotics projects through to industrialisation.
• Strong documentation, organisational and communication abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to translate market needs into product solutions.
