Production Manager

About the role

The client, a leading industrial manufacturer in Kenitra, Morocco, is looking for a Production Manager to oversee daily production operations. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the role focuses on executing production plans, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities to meet targets within planned timelines.
• Execute directives from the Senior Operations Manager and align with departmental goals.
• Drive continuous process improvement to boost productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Coordinate workflow and allocate sewing operators effectively.
• Collaborate with Engineering on layout updates and workspace optimization.
• Implement work instructions from Engineering and Quality departments.
• Identify process gaps and communicate them for resolution.
• Handle administrative tasks related to production operations.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental policies and train the team.
• Participate in internal audits such as LPA, 5S, and Manufacturing System assessments.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Knowledge of APQP.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong problem‑solving techniques.
