Production Supervisor

About the role

Our client, a global automotive manufacturer, is establishing a new plant in Tangier and seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the launch. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while meeting delivery and productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, coordinating manpower, equipment, and resources to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Monitor production KPIs such as OEE, productivity, scrap, and efficiency, and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
• Lead, coach, and motivate operators and team leaders, handling recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and training needs.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives, participating in root‑cause analysis and process‑optimization projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting corrective and preventive actions and maintaining accurate production documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience supervising production teams in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
• Experience with plant launches or greenfield projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
