Project BOM Pilot – Underbody (Automotive)

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is looking for a Project BOM Pilot to lead the underbody Bill of Materials (BOM) effort for automotive programs. You will coordinate the E‑BOM based on the Generic BOM, ensure data quality, and act as the main liaison between the BCI team and the broader PLM ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the Project E‑BOM using the Generic BOM as a reference.
• Collect, verify and validate all BOM Change Requests from BCI teams.
• Ensure BOM compliance, data completeness and structural consistency within the PLM system.
• Represent the BCI team in weekly BOM Commission meetings with PFDI.
• Prepare and secure Sync 3 (Prototype) and Sync 5 (Serial) releases.
• Create and manage ECOs and related release data.
• Monitor BOM quality KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Align Project BOM, Module BOM and Generic BOM and track implementation across PLM.
• Deliver weekly BOM status reports to the PMO and Generic BOM Pilot.

Required profile

• Background in automotive engineering, industrial engineering or product lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in BOM management, PLM environments and project coordination.
• Good understanding of vehicle architecture, module structure, product configuration and variant management.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of E‑BOM structures, product configuration and variant management.
• Experience with PLM systems, especially ENOVIA (Dassault Systèmes).
• Advanced Excel for BOM analysis, reporting and data consolidation.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as SAP BI 4.
• Ability to work with BOM Change Request files, PTA files, PowerTools, DocInfo and CODEP/EBOM viewers.
• Understanding of part lifecycle, release workflows for prototype and serial phases.
