Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician supports the APQP coordinator in ensuring that all production processes meet customer and quality standards. This position focuses on monitoring new project launches, calibrating measurement tools, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product drawings to identify special characteristics and define required measurement equipment.
• Prepare quality documentation for startup, including Quality QIP, Quality Wall QIP, and Operator QIP.
• Participate in the development of PFMEA, Control Plans, and lab‑based PPAP.
• Monitor daily production during the project phase and approve dimensions of injection‑moulded parts.
• Conduct pre‑startup checks, ensure instrument calibration, and follow validation procedures.
• Halt production or implement containment actions when quality defects are detected.
• Ensure compliance with customer recommendations, quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• BAC +2 in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Professional proficiency in French and intermediate proficiency in English.
