Refinery Department Head

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic engineer to lead our refinery department. Based in Roches Noires, Casablanca, the role focuses on driving production efficiency, safety, and quality while managing a technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise refinery production activities to meet performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Oversee industrial maintenance programmes and coordinate major projects.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase throughput.
• Supervise, mentor and develop technical staff across production and maintenance functions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 7‑10 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in refining or process industries.
• Proven track record in production operations, industrial maintenance and project management.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
