Remote Service Desk Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, English‑speaking Service Desk Specialist to provide front‑line technical support to Polaris Technologies’ customers. Working fully remotely from 6 am to 2 pm, you will be the first point of contact for IT incidents, ensuring swift diagnosis, resolution, and a positive support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and prioritize service‑desk requests via the ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve a wide range of user and system issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of problems, steps taken and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support secure network environments and implement process improvements.
• Track ticket metrics, identify recurring problems and suggest enhancements to support procedures.

Required profile

• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven experience in service‑desk or help‑desk support, handling ticket queues and delivering consistent customer service.
• Solid IT knowledge including basic networking, operating systems and common enterprise applications.
• Strong customer‑service mindset, patience and professionalism in remote environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and collaborate with distributed technical teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
