Remote Survey Enumerator – Phone Interviewer

About the role

As a Survey Enumerator (also called Research Assistant) you will conduct phone surveys with customers and beneficiaries on behalf of 60 Decibels' clients. Working remotely, you will help deliver high‑quality insights while following strict data‑integrity and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Join project onboarding calls to understand survey context and objectives.
• Conduct phone interviews, ensuring you reach the correct respondents listed on contact sheets.
• Explain survey purpose clearly, answer respondent questions, and achieve daily interview targets.
• Enter responses verbatim into the 60dB platform in English, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Provide regular progress updates, flag obstacles, and address quality‑check feedback promptly.
• Uphold data privacy and integrity by following all 60dB procedures.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and communication abilities; can manage tasks independently and collaborate via email and Slack.
• Proven skill in building rapport with respondents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data capture.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in data collection, market‑research enumeration, or call‑center/customer‑service roles is highly preferred.
