Reservations Agent – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Reservations Agent will manage all booking enquiries for a world‑class luxury hotel, ensuring each request is handled accurately, efficiently and with the highest level of guest service. You will work closely with guests, travel partners and internal teams to deliver seamless reservation experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests via email and telephone, maintaining professionalism and promptness.
• Utilise multiple reservation platforms and web‑based systems to capture bookings from various distribution channels.
• Conduct daily reviews of arrivals, payments and pre‑authorisations to guarantee accuracy.
• Leverage tools and resources to maximise productivity and meet performance targets such as revenue, conversion rates and guest satisfaction.
• Build meaningful relationships with guests through active listening and personalised communication.
• Provide tailored recommendations and upsell services that enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure all reservation activities comply with company policies and luxury hospitality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in reservations, front office or guest service, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset with strong organisational abilities.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in French and English; a third language is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel reservation systems (any platform).
