About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Sales Development Representative to join a fast‑growing UK‑based IT infrastructure and cybersecurity consultancy. As the first point of contact, you will generate high‑volume outbound outreach, engage decision‑makers across multiple sectors, and set up qualified discovery meetings for senior sales colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Make 100+ cold calls per day to prospects in education, manufacturing, hospitality, and housing.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, clearly communicating the value of secure networking, managed services, and Cisco solutions.
- Qualify leads and schedule high‑quality discovery meetings for the senior sales team.
- Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM to ensure smooth hand‑off to Account Executives.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly outreach and meeting‑conversion KPIs.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in high‑volume cold‑calling or outbound sales.
- Native or near‑native fluency in spoken and written English.
- Self‑motivated “hunter” mindset with a strong resilience to rejection.
- Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
