Salesforce Core Technical Architect

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a Core Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑grade Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and platform solutions. The role focuses on the Core Platform, ensuring scalable, secure and performant architectures that are ready for AI usage across enterprise landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary authority for the Salesforce Core platform, guiding project delivery and integration with Agentforce AI.
• Design and produce technical design documents, blueprints and functional specifications following Salesforce best practices.
• Define scalable architecture for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and the Lightning Platform, emphasizing data modeling, sharing, security and governance.
• Lead code reviews, set coding standards for Apex, LWC and Flows, and provide integration best‑practice guidance.
• Facilitate executive stakeholder discussions, aligning technology strategy with business value and ROI.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and configuring Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud for enterprise use cases.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, sharing/security architecture, governor limits and multi‑org strategies.
• Strong ability to translate client requirements into Salesforce solutions and document data flows and system diagrams.
• Experience with API patterns (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Platform Events) and integrating Salesforce with external systems.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience; willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite discovery.
