Science Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to plan, deliver, and assess science lessons for students. The role involves collaborating with academic staff, the psychology department, and parents to support student learning and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and email lesson plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize class materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design monthly assessments, grade assignments, and record grades on schedule.
• Decorate the classroom with relevant educational displays and supervise playground duties.
• Work with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in teacher meetings, workshops, parent meetings, and school events.
• Monitor attendance, manage homework boards, and encourage student participation in extracurricular committees.
• Communicate openly with students and parents, referring emotional or family concerns to the psychologist.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Strong competencies in organization, planning, leadership, analytical thinking, pressure management, communication, and strategic thinking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
