Security Manager (Ex-Gendarme) – Fixed‑Term

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced security professional with a background in the Gendarmerie to support public safety liaison activities across the MENA region. The role involves incident response, stakeholder coordination and on‑site engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Public Safety Liaison MENA in building collaborative relationships with law‑enforcement and public‑safety leaders.
• Respond to platform incidents, provide direct support for complex or critical situations, and produce timely incident updates and post‑incident reports.
• Guide law‑enforcement authorities on legal and ethical investigation support, and advocate for user data protection and privacy.
• Identify, escalate and manage emergencies affecting people, locations and communities, and travel nationwide for meetings and training.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of professional experience in a law‑enforcement agency, specifically the Gendarmerie.
• Native‑level Arabic and professional fluency in English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast‑changing priorities.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and travel across the country as needed.

Required skills

• Knowledge of computer systems, internet technologies, online research and digital tools.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, discretion and professionalism handling sensitive information.
