Senior Accountant (English required)

About the role

MTS Globe is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Morocco team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with local and group standards, and supporting the company’s financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end closing in line with local tax obligations and Group procedures.
• Prepare ad‑hoc accounting controls, management reports, tax planning documents and support external audits.
• Manage daily treasury planning and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Provide financial analysis for senior management and conduct business profitability reviews.
• Report financial performance using Group monitoring tools, analyse variances and suggest reporting improvements.
• Coordinate communication with the Group Shared Service Center in Palma and Zurich.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the General Manager Morocco.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Economics or Accounting.
• Solid knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards (SNS) and tax system.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a trajectory toward a Chief Accountant role.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation and initiative.
• Fluent English.
