Senior Accountant – International Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead daily accounting operations for our multinational environment. The role combines rigorous financial reporting with process improvement, supporting both local and group finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS/International GAAP and ensure compliance.
• Produce management reporting packages and support group consolidation.
• Assist internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Conduct variance, cost and performance analyses to inform business decisions.
• Monitor and improve accounting processes, internal controls and automation opportunities.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and reconciliation across international subsidiaries.
• Participate in ERP optimization projects, ensuring accurate data and user support.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or multinational company.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• IFRS and International GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP Business One or Sage.
• Solid understanding of intercompany accounting and consolidation processes.
