Senior Manager – Teaming@BCG

About the role

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Teaming@BCG function across Africa. The role focuses on coaching case teams, embedding BCG’s core values, and driving high‑performing, inclusive team dynamics that deliver client impact and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coach case teams using the OneBCG approach to ensure outstanding client impact and a trustful, inclusive environment.
• Partner with Managing Directors, Partners, and Case Leaders to identify early opportunities and continuously strengthen case dynamics.
• Build and maintain structured MDP‑Coach partnerships, including monthly portfolio reviews and proactive capacity planning.
• Conduct individual and team coaching sessions to uncover root causes, share best practices, and resolve case‑level challenges.
• Act as a change agent to embed firm‑wide priorities (e.g., Amplify Impact, Integrity) into team ways of working.
• Collaborate with AI leadership to drive regional Amplify Impact enablement.
• Navigate complex situations with senior leadership to address critical teaming issues and ensure effective resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior consultant or manager in a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of BCG’s values: Value Focus, Team Trust, Growth Mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on sustainable impact.
