Senior Research Associate – Impact Evaluation (Education)

About the role

The Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL) is seeking a Senior Research Associate to lead and coordinate an impact evaluation of Morocco’s education system in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports. Based at the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic campus in Rabat, the role supports a multinational research team and contributes to evidence‑based policymaking.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and supervise field‑based impact evaluation activities in line with the research design.
• Coordinate data collection, management and analysis, ensuring high‑quality datasets.
• Maintain and develop relationships with partner organisations, including the Ministry and local NGOs.
• Propose methodological innovations and oversee their integration into the project.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation and contribute to academic publications.

Required profile

• Ability to supervise and ensure successful implementation of field projects.
• Capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with partner organisations.
• Experience coordinating field research activities in line with research designs.
