Senior Supply Planner

About the role

The Senior Supply Planner will develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, the role works closely with production, procurement, logistics, sales and customer service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans that balance demand forecasts, inventory, production capacity and supplier constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory performance, address shortages, excess stock and obsolescence.
• Coordinate production schedules and material availability.
• Identify supply-chain risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
• Track and report key KPIs such as inventory turns, service levels, forecast accuracy and supply adherence.
• Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with supply insights.
• Drive continuous-improvement initiatives for planning processes and systems.
• Ensure data accuracy in planning tools and mentor junior planners as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply-chain planning or a similar function.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Results-oriented and proactive attitude.
