Software Pre‑Sales Engineer – Gulf Market

About the role

The Software Pre‑Sales Engineer will support our sales teams across the Gulf region, translating customer business and technical requirements into compelling solution proposals. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, delivering presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts to win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to gather and analyse customer requirements in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
• Design and propose technical solutions, create architecture diagrams, and draft statements of work.
• Prepare and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with accurate technical input.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concept sessions, and workshops for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Assist in effort estimation, bill of materials preparation, and solution sizing.
• Coordinate with engineering, delivery, product, and support teams to ensure smooth hand‑over to implementation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
• Proven ability to create technical proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical mindset and customer‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data or AI solutions (a plus).
• Proficiency with diagramming tools like Visio or Draw.io.
• Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
