Supplier Cost Analyst – Automotive Industry

About the role

TRIGO is seeking a Supplier Cost Analyst to lead on‑site cost audits for automotive cable commodities. You will work closely with suppliers, commodity managers and buyers to verify actual costs, identify reduction opportunities and support negotiation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct on‑site supplier cost audits for a defined commodity scope.
• Prepare audit documentation, perform the audit, and compile detailed audit reports.
• Generate Part‑by‑Part Cost Breakdown (PBD) based on verified actual costs.
• Collaborate with buyers and commodity managers to define Total Purchase Cost (TPC) reduction plans.
• Leverage audit findings and benchmark data to propose cost‑saving initiatives.
• Report progress and support buyers in confirming TPC reduction agreements with suppliers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost‑analysis methodologies and share lessons learned.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the automotive sector, specifically in automotive cable manufacturing.
• Proven background in cost analysis, cost engineering, product costing or related purchasing functions.
• At least 10 years of experience in cost optimisation and production processes within the automotive industry.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel weekly to supplier plants.
