Team Lead – Finance Applications Support

About the role

The Finance Applications Support Team Lead will guide a group of Finance Consultants and Application Support Analysts in delivering high‑quality financial advisory, analysis, and system support. This position bridges business finance functions with IT, ensuring smooth operation of ERP and SaaS finance applications while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of Finance Consultants and Application Support Analysts.
• Allocate workload, set priorities and monitor performance to meet service level agreements.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex functional and operational issues.
• Facilitate knowledge‑sharing, training initiatives and best‑practice dissemination.
• Provide financial advisory across general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, treasury and tax.
• Analyze financial data, prepare reports, dashboards and KPIs to support decision‑making.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Manage finance applications (ERP/SaaS), handling incidents, enhancements and liaison with business and IT stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, IFRS standards and internal controls.
• Drive process optimisation and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in finance consulting, ERP finance, financial systems or application support.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring teams in an AMS, shared‑services or consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of application maintenance support (ITSM) and accounting standards (IFRS).
• Excellent analytical abilities and a results‑oriented mindset.
