Technical Engineer – Architectural Aluminum Systems

About the role

The Technical Engineer will provide engineering support for architectural aluminum systems—including windows, doors, curtain walls and façades—across Tunisia and Morocco. You will ensure correct system specification, technical compliance, and high‑quality project support for customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for system design and project‑specific adaptations.
• Review drawings and technical submittals to ensure compliance with company standards and local building codes.
• Prepare technical documentation, installation guidelines and system details for customers and internal teams.
• Act as the technical point of contact for fabricators, architects, consultants and contractors.
• Support sales teams with technical input during bidding and proposal preparation.
• Perform structural and thermal calculations (wind load, deflection, U‑values, etc.) and assist in quotation take‑offs.
• Maintain and update BIM libraries, CAD details and technical manuals.
• Coordinate product testing, certification and system localization for North African markets.
• Support quality control and provide fabrication guidance for key projects.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in engineering or technical support for aluminum building systems.
• Fluent in both French and English (mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with sales, R&D, production and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Structural and thermal calculation expertise (wind load, deflection, U‑values).
• Proficiency with BIM libraries and CAD software.
• Preparation of technical documentation, installation guidelines and system specifications.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards for Tunisia and Morocco.
• Product localization, testing and certification processes.
• Quality control and fabrication guidance for aluminum systems.
