Technical Specialist - Data Center Solutions, North Africa

About the role

Lenovo is looking for a passionate Technical Specialist for its business in North Africa. You will promote Lenovo Data Center products and AI solutions, working with CTOs, IT specialists, the sales team and partners to turn customer needs into winning proposals. You will step in for opportunities identified by the channel sales team and support the sales team in growing business across the Data Center portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer business and technical requirements and build the customer's solution architecture
• Drive opportunities through the sales cycle to a profitable closing
• Support the sales team in defining the right solution for customers and establishing Lenovo as a solution provider with channel partners

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Data Center solutions, including server, storage and networking technologies, with a focus on enterprise-level deployments
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, Red Hat, Docker or KVM, and familiarity with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to design complex architectures that meet scalability, redundancy and security requirements
• Knowledge of AI, ML and data analytics solutions and experience integrating them into Data Center architectures
• Strong background in solution selling, with experience translating technical requirements into business solutions
• Minimum of 5-7 years in a technical sales or pre-sales architect role in enterprise IT
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
