Travel Consultant

About the role

Cozmo Travel is looking for a Travel Consultant to support the growth of its retail sales and market presence. The role centres on promoting and executing daily sales activities and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Cozmo Travel's products and services to walk-in and potential customers and sell to meet or exceed individual and branch targets.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable travel solutions.
• Handle inquiries, bookings and complaints professionally, give accurate information and timely follow-ups, and build relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, bookings and customer interactions, and prepare regular sales reports for management.
• Stay updated on travel trends, competitor offerings and promotions, and give feedback on customer preferences and market demands.
• Work with colleagues to achieve branch goals, attend training and team meetings, and move to any branch or department as instructed by management.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.
• Associate degree (Bac+2); a specialization in Travel and Tourism is an advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in the travel industry, preferably as a Retail Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
• IATA certification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills, with a genuine passion for travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in travel booking systems (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus) is a must.
• Ability to follow company policies, legal regulations and industry best practices.
