UK Payroll Specialist – Full-cycle & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced UK Payroll Specialist to join our growing team in Rabat. You will manage the complete UK payroll lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to shape innovative payroll solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end UK payroll processing, guaranteeing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE, National Insurance, workplace pensions, SSP, SMP and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit all payroll‑related statutory filings and reports.
• Administer employee benefits, leave, absences and payroll adjustments.
• Work closely with Finance to reconcile payroll accounting.
• Gather business requirements and draft functional specifications for payroll enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers and Engineers to improve payroll processes and user experience.
• Participate in testing, validation and continuous improvement of payroll and HR software solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing UK payroll.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and employment regulations.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
