About the role

We are seeking a high‑performance Video Editor to create short‑form, high‑impact videos for a fast‑growing digital marketing agency serving blue‑collar trades across North America. You will craft authentic, gritty content that drives organic virality on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 5‑10 short‑form videos daily for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, ensuring high quality and viral potential.
• Manage high‑volume post‑production workflows while maintaining creative standards.
• Analyze performance metrics (watch time, CTR, pacing) to refine hooks and editing styles.
• Collaborate with a creative squad, run workshops and share insights to boost department output.
• Integrate AI tools and motion graphics to improve efficiency and visual appeal.
• Work closely with account managers and designers to deliver high‑converting assets for websites, social media and advertising.
• Maintain brand consistency while capturing the authentic spirit of trades‑based businesses.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of professional video and photo production experience, preferably in an agency or fast‑paced environment.
• Proven track record of creating viral short‑form content with a portfolio demonstrating deep knowledge of social media algorithms.
• Highly analytical mindset, able to edit based on data, psychological hooks and music trends.
• Ability to work quickly in a “work hard, play hard” setting while staying meticulously organized.
