Workplace Technical Expert – Application Access Portal Lead

About the role

The Workplace Technical Expert acts as the primary technical authority for the organization’s application access portals, ensuring they deliver high performance, robust security, and reliable availability. This role collaborates closely with product owners and cross‑functional teams to shape architecture, drive technical decisions, and mentor colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of external partner and service provider portals built on F5 VPN solutions.
• Own the internal Microsoft MyApps portal, guaranteeing its performance, resilience, and security.
• Work with the Product Owner in a collaborative model to align solutions with technical standards and workplace architecture.
• Act as solution architect, technical expert, and mentor, providing guidance and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, authentication mechanisms, and access‑control standards.
• Support the availability and reliability of workplace and unified communication services.
