Accountant – Full‑time – Fez

About the role

Alstom is looking for a full‑time Accountant to join its finance team in Fez. You will work closely with internal finance partners, auditors and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and book accounting entries and validate accounting documents.
• Reconcile major balance‑sheet and profit‑and‑loss accounts on a monthly basis.
• Produce financial reports, free‑cash‑flow statements and Teranga packs (actual, forecast, budget).
• Manage overhead accruals, inter‑company invoices, depreciation journals and fixed‑asset tracking.
• Handle bank reconciliations, payment processing, payroll control and insurance cost allocation.
• Support internal audits and prepare tax‑pack reports in line with local regulations.
• Apply Alstom accounting standards, IFRS and Moroccan GAAP to all transactions.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proven accounting experience, preferably in a large multinational environment.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SAP (or similar integrated financial system).
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Knowledge of Moroccan GAAP.
• Proficiency in French.
• Proficiency in English.
