Agronomist – Crop Production Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Agronomist to work directly with growers in Morocco, providing technical expertise and hands‑on support to improve crop yield, quality, and sustainability. You will act as a trusted advisor, deploying innovative practices, technologies, and new berry varieties across production fields.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support on crop production systems, plant nutrition, substrate management, and integrated pest management.
• Visit production fields regularly to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement innovative growing techniques.
• Lead field‑based projects aimed at increasing yield, fruit quality, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
• Document and report project progress and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot agronomic challenges in collaboration with growers and internal teams.
• Organize grower meetings, field tours, technical trainings, and knowledge‑sharing events.
• Partner with Applied Research, R&D, Production, and Nursery teams to deploy new initiatives.
• Develop best management practices and technical production guides.
• Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of agronomy experience with a hands‑on, field‑oriented approach.
• Strong scientific knowledge combined with practical field experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity and a drive to innovate and solve agronomic challenges.
