About the role

Bank of Africa is looking for a Project Security Architect to define and oversee security architectures for its IT projects. The role ensures robust design choices and aligns delivery with the bank’s security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define target security architectures for application and infrastructure projects.
• Guide and arbitrate solution choices for IAM, PAM, API security, encryption and application security.
• Conduct technical risk analyses and produce architecture dossiers.
• Support project teams with application security best practices and design guidance.
• Validate deliverables against the bank’s security requirements.
• Contribute to reusable security standards across projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in IT security, systems architecture, networks or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in security architecture, infrastructure, cloud or IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, PAM, API security, encryption and application security.
• Ability to formalize and defend architectural decisions to diverse audiences.
