Vulnerability Management Expert

About the role

The Security Engineer – Vulnerability and Threat Management is responsible for performing scans and generating reports using Qualys Guard. You will schedule compliance and vulnerability scans across AXA’s network and infrastructure and deliver findings to server and network teams for remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scanning and assessments across multiple environments, technologies and systems.
• Integrate and manage assets within Qualys Guard modules.
• Coordinate with business units and technology specialists to communicate risks and enforce remediation deadlines.
• Produce regular dashboards and reports on vulnerability trends, remediation progress and compliance status.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Networks and Security or equivalent engineering school.
• 5‑10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of PKI, SIEM, SOC, IPSEC, AD and OS security.
• Demonstrated work ethics, secrecy and willingness to undergo a background check.

Required skills

• Qualys Guard scanning and asset management.
• PKI, SIEM, SOC, IPSEC, Active Directory security, operating system and Windows account security.
• Password vaulting and privileged access management (e.g., CyberArk).
• Identity management concepts, authorization and segregation of duties.
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool.
• Strong networking protocol knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hacking techniques, cyber‑threat trends and security best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA R&S, CCNA Security, NSE4, PCCSA, MCSA, CEHv9/v10.
