AWS Cloud Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Operations – Site Reliability Engineer to join our international shared services team. In this role you will design, deploy, and operate highly reliable SaaS platforms on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and automate applications, servers, infrastructure, and network systems.
• Design and engineer scalable SaaS architectures on AWS in collaboration with the Platform team.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and Crossplane.
• Own and evolve GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD.
• Develop automated runbooks, self‑healing workflows, and reusable modules.
• Configure monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Datadog) and define SLIs/SLOs.
• Conduct load testing, chaos testing, and game days to improve resilience.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, lead root‑cause analysis, and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Ensure security posture, compliance, and optimize AWS spend using FinOps practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating SaaS platforms on AWS.
• Strong background in automation, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, and GitOps.
• Ability to work in an on‑call rotation and handle incident management.
• Experience collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable services.
