About the role

The Catering Sales Manager drives revenue for the hotel by securing and managing local corporate and social catering contracts. You will act as the primary point of contact for catering opportunities, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new catering business to meet personal and hotel revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with off‑property sales channels to coordinate efforts and avoid duplication.
  • Negotiate contracts, design creative event concepts, and up‑sell food‑and‑beverage packages.
  • Prepare proposals, write contracts, and manage customer correspondence throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain catering menus that drive sales.
  • Monitor sales revenue, manage budgets, and provide regular forecasting reports.
  • Resolve guest issues arising from the sales process by coordinating with property leadership.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related fields, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related discipline.
